What is Fundist?
Fundist is a fundraising platform for startups and companies where they can directly connect, chat and meet with investors. You can manage your entire raise on Fundist and raise in equity, debt and grants, manage investor pipeline, track replies or meetings and much more.
Is Fundist free to use?
Yes, you can connect with investors directly on Fundist for free. There is also a Premium plan with additional superpowers to help you raise faster.
How is this different from hiring a fundraising consultant?
Consultants charge high upfront fees, often have additional charges as you work with them and use bulk email lists to spam investors, which can harm your reputation along the way. There is little to no transparency or tracking as well. On the other hand, Fundist has a simple Premium plan that gives you direct access to investors and provides complete transparency in all communications.
What types of funding can I find?
Our platform covers all funding types: equity (via angels, VCs, Private Equity, etc), debt (via banks, NBFCs, Venture Debt, etc), and grants (via government schemes, foundations, accelerator programs, etc).
How do you verify investors?
Every investor goes through a personal Zoom onboarding call where we verify their identity, funding capacity, and investment thesis. We also check their portfolio and track record before approval.
Do you charge success fees?
No. We only charge our simple monthly/yearly subscription. No success fees, no commissions, no hidden charges. You keep 100% of what you raise. We do have a success fees-only plan for startups that cannot afford to subscribe to a monthly plan.
How quickly can I start connecting with investors?
Once your profile is approved (usually within 24 hours), you can immediately search for investors and send connection requests. Most founders get their first responses within 48 hours.
Is my data and pitch deck secure?
Yes. We use enterprise-grade security, encrypted storage, and strict access controls. Your information is only shared with investors you explicitly connect with. We maintain full confidentiality for everything you share about your startup.
How much time will it take to fundraise?
Generally, an entire raise takes about 3-4 months; sometimes it may take less or sometimes even longer depending on your unique situation. Fundist will help you avoid common time wasters like searching for investors or their contacts, vetting investor profiles for a good match, waiting for replies, back and forth on meeting schedules, etc.
How accurate are the match percentages?
We analyse over 30+ factors, including sector focus, stage preference, cheque size, geography, and investment thesis. Most successful connections have 75%+ match scores.
